In yet another sad tale of the 'not entertaining' entertainment industry, Dave Linabury is the latest contestant in the Intellectual Properties Follies. Dave's Website, Davezilla is being confused by the attorneys of Toho Co, Ltd. as infringing on the Trade and Servicemarks of Godzilla. The are whining about the 'ZILLA' portion. The Toho Co, Ltd attorneys either do not understand intellectual property laws, or they think that they can get billings for this. Godzilla attacks harmless blogger
A one tenth of one second search at Google discovered these zilla's On a personal note, all Dave has to do is email me his address and i have a hundred bucks for his defense fund. Yes another Internet Explorer Flaw
Microsofts Internet Explorer has a serious flaw. The folks who are trying to settle with the Justice department over the alleged trusted Passport which is neither trusted nor secure, has been shown to allow 'man in the middle' attacks to grab your credit card info and any other information that uses SSL. Let me see now... the company that just spent 100 million bucks to 'secure' their software keeps getting their ass handed to them by folks who do not have access to the holy closed source code, (which makes bug hunting far easier) and watching the Open Source community find and repair the same flaw in a day or so. The KDE Konqueror browser has already been fixed. Mozilla is not affected. KDE smokes MS in SSL bug fix p i x e l v i e w
