The Web Standards Project grew out of a desire to make websites available on the largest number of platforms with the smallest amount of code. It wasn't being lazy, or greedy, it was about getting businesses on the web to expand the opportunities for them and for everyone connected to the web. Part One was getting the Browser makers to support the W3C HTML "Standards". We are getting real close with the newest Browsers. Part Two is about getting the tool makers, in some cases the same companies, to provide the options for creating Valid Code. Expectations and Misunderstandings A Bugs Death Department
