what's hot what's not
Mozilla 1.0 has arrived. It is fast, smooth, and imports mail, news, bookmarks from IE in a heartbeat. The only problems I have are the creation of separate accounts with standard folders for every email account I use. The other is filtering mail into folders. But that's just me.
Murder by Death
The music business is in trouble. All the signs of problem addiction are here, denial, lying, cheating, delusions of grandeur, an acting out from a sense of isolation that is self imposed. They are blind to the effects that they are having on others, their clients, their workers, and their customers.
An article in New York Magazine explains the suicide of the music business.

Addiction. Been there, done that. I can talk the talk and walk the walk as I was a drunk and dope fiend. In a few days I will celebrate 15 years of being clean and sober. It will be a day like any other. I note with pleasure that a friend of mine takes a moment to celebrate 9 years today.
In other celebrations the mirror project is one year old today. Congratulations!!
p i x e l v i e w
p i x e l v i e w is the result of a question I posted on the webdesign-l mailist. 'What is the Internet for.' The answers were surprising enough that I decided to devote time to having folks who are on the Internet answer a series of questions to explore what and why we are on the web.
The response to my requests has been astounding.
This week's p i x e l v i e w is definitely in the other catagory. The Rev. A. K. M. Adam is a Professor of New Testament Studies. But that's not all...
