what's hot what's not
It is said that bad things happen in threes. Joe Jenett lost one of his cats a couple of weeks ago. I lost one of mine, and now he has lost another. I hope that this trend is over. These furballs leave a big hole in your life when they are gone.
Have Radio Will Travel
Dave Winer of Radio fame is traveling across the country soon. If he takes the southern route, and he should as cold weather sucks, I hope to have him stop by. He is one of the folks that I would like to talk with.

The ceiling framing is complete, the wiring for the light fixtures is next, then the drywall and finishing. Before I became a pixel mechanic, I was a carpenter, remodeler, and builder. I still keep my hand in as occasionally my clients expand their businesses and running wire in walls after the buildings are finished is a usefull skill.
Hiding Content [Posted] 12/11/02
One of the re-occurring themes that appear on design lists is 'hiding content', or making one's code invisible. Most of the solutions just don't work. The internet is not about hiding stuff. But in the interest of fairness I can offer a proven method of hiding content.
