Eldred v. Ashcroft is a case being heard by the Supreme Court in an attempt to overturn the insane length of current copyright terms. I emailed Lawrence Lessig as soon as I could to see what I could to help. Professor Lessig, His reply is short and to the point. Ok, we've set up a fund to cover the expenses in the case. None of the money contributed will be used for anything except Eldred expenses (ie, no lawyers fees), and any residual will be donated to an appropriate charity.
