Number 66 to cast my ballot in my precinct this year. If you have a race in your town, get out and vote. I am not happy with the candidates running, so a lot of my voting was against rather than for. This will change. It will take about 6 years to build candidates that stand for positions that I believe, that will not be infected with the current farm club system of selecting folks to run as we see by the last minute flurry of money being pushed to major party players. Oh yeah, I will be getting involved in local politics. No I won't be a candidate, my youth did involve such things as inhaling, and my alchoholism is well documented. Plus as my significant other notes, ' you are too blunt'.

In an unprecedented turn of events, the US Government acknowledged that the CIA assasinated members of al-Qaeda with a remote control laser guided [1]hellfire missile. This is significant as it demonstrates that we have an effective tool to make a up close and personal point about terrorism. According to the Air Force[2] these are 40 million bucks a pop, they have 48 in inventory as of May 2002. The Hellfire missles are $58,000 each. and we have a lot of these. This is just the tool to remove Sadaam permanently. Let's fix the problem that Bush left back in the 90's. Lock 'em, Load 'em and lets go hunting.

There is a lot of bullshit about arriving at a global consensus regarding the inspection and dismantling of the Iraqi weapons of mass destruction in the United Nations. It seems to revolve around the oil in Iraq. This had better not be about oil. The oil belongs to the people of Iraq. If the adminstration thinks that they can steal this or allow any other country to do so, they need a serious reality check.

Pay real close attention. America is about democracy and opportunity, not armed robbery. I am an American and not a thief.
